Worsted weight cotton yarn (I
used Peaches n’ Cream)
H (5 mm) Hook
Yarn Needle
2 Buttons
Stitches:
fhdc – foundation half double
crochet
hdc – half double crochet
sc – single crochet
sc dec – single crochet decrease
sl st – slip stitch

Ch 2.
Rnd 1: 7 fhdc starting in the 2nd chain from the
hook.. 4 hdc in last fhdc. 1 hdc in next 6 sts. 4 hdc in last st. Sl st with 1st
fhdc to join.
Rnd 2: 2 hdc in same st as sl st. 1 hdc in next 6 sts. 2 in next, 1 in next, 2
in next, 1 in next, 2 in next. 1 hdc in next 6 sts. 2 in next, 1 in next, 2 in
next, 1 in next. Sl st to join. (28 hdc)
Sides and top
Turn sole over so that you are starting on the left side of
the shoe working towards the toe (far end).
Rnd 3: In top loops only, sc evenly around. Sl st in 1st
sc. Attach marker. (28 sc)
Rnd 4: Now working in both loops, 1 sc in next 5 sc. Scdec in
next 2 sc, 5 times. Sc in rem 13 sc. Sl st in 1st sc to join. (23
sc)
Rnd 5: 1 sc in next 3 sc. Sc dec in next 2 sc, 4 times. Sc
in next 8 sc. Sc dec twice. Sl st. (19
sc)
Strap
For left shoe only:
Row 6: Sl st in next st. Work 6 fhdc across. Ch 4 (or amount
to go around button). Sl st in last fhdc. End off.
For right shoe only:
Row 6: End off yarn.
Find the stitch in the center of the toe. Attach yarn in the 4th st
from the st in the center of the toe on the right side of shoe. Work 6 fhdc
across. Ch 4 (or amount to go around button). Sl st in last fhdc. End off.
Sew button. Weave in ends.
Size: 0-3 mos (3.5” long x 1.5”
wide)

Ch 2.

For left shoe only:
Row 6: Sl st in next 2 sts. Work 6 fhdc across. Ch 4 (or amount
to go around button). Sl st in last fhdc. End off.
For right shoe only:
Row 6: End off shoe.
Find the center of the toe (located in between two stitches). Attach yarn in
the 5th st from the center of the toe on the right side of shoe.
Work 6 fhdc across. Ch 4 (or amount to go around button). Sl st in last fhdc.
End off.
Sew button. Weave in ends.
